Yes – I meant to put “detox.” Carbs and sugar are extremely addictive. Processed carbohydrates convert to sugar in the body plus we are eating sugary products, also. When people start this diet, they are stopping an addiction cold turkey. This can be very hard and can derail people from their diet if they don’t know it’s coming. Be prepared, please know that coming off of sugar is like dealing with a drug addiction. The intensity can be just as hard, but I promise, the breaking process is not as long!! This will be the first 7-10 days, and women, if you are getting your period this sugar addiction goes even higher.
You must NOT eat any sugar or extra carbs during this diet, especially the first week!
