“At the beginning of 2020, and for many, many New Year’s prior, I’d say to myself, “I’ve really got to lose weight.” Close to the end of January, I was on the telephone with a girlfriend chatting about it, as we usually do. When we finally hung up, I thought to myself how tired I was of having the same conversation with her each year, and that it was about time I did something about it. I really felt like it was hopeless and that I’d never get to where I’d so wished to be.
I had remembered my friend Linda Valente had previously sent me a link through Facebook to like her Breakthrough M2 page. I went online and looked at it again. I saw the before and after pics of clients that she had helped, and decided to message her. Linda had known how I had struggled in the past so I felt like she would be understanding and could possibly help me.
During the initial meeting, she had asked me how much weight I wanted to lose and what my goal weight would be. I struggled with that question and replied that, “it would be great to just lose 25 pounds.”
She pressed and asked me a second time saying, “No Karen. What would be your ultimate, goal weight?” I told her it would be a miracle if I got down to 150.
I started Breakthrough M2 on February 1st at 221 lbs. I now weigh 122.
This program has changed my entire life. I have learned to eat healthily, focus on myself, exercise, and really work on my mental wellbeing; having a positive and mindful outlook. I no longer avoid situations or remain hidden from life itself. I find myself doing things that I never truly thought I’d be able to do again.
