Spicy Crab Salad
Ingredients
- 3.5 oz crab or tuna (Wild Caught canned or Fresh)
- 1 Tablespoon diced celery (add to weight of veggies totaling 3.5 oz)
- 1 Tablespoon finely minced red onion (add to weight of veggies totaling 3.5 oz)
- 1 Tablespoon lemon juice (+ optional lemon zest)
- 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

1 Tablespoon Bragg liquid aminos

Dash of garlic powder

Dash of onion powder

Cayenne pepper to taste

Salt and black pepper
- You may substitute spices with Old Bay seasoning or add it in for additional flavor
- Add clear liquid or powdered stevia if you need to sweeten the salad a bit.
- Spinach (free 2.5 oz extra daily)
- Cherry tomatoes (add to weight of veggies totaling 3.5 oz)
- Cucumber (free food)
Preparation

Prepare the Protein:
Weigh out your crab or tuna. If using canned, drain well; if fresh, cook or prep as needed. Add it to a mixing bowl. -
Chop the Veggies:
Dice the celery and mince the red onion. Weigh both to track your vegetable portion, then add them to the bowl with the protein. -
Flavor It Up:
Add lemon juice, Bragg Liquid Aminos, and all your preferred spices. Adjust to taste. -
Mix It Together:
Stir everything well to combine into a flavorful crab (or tuna) salad. -
Veggie Check:
Weigh any additional vegetables to ensure you have at least 3.5 oz total on your plate. -
Assemble the Plate:
Lay down a bed of fresh spinach. Add cherry tomatoes and cucumber if you'd like. -
Finish & Serve:
Spoon the spicy crab salad over the veggies and enjoy!
