Ingredients
- ½ head red cabbage, thinly sliced (about 2–3 cups)
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced or mashed
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- Dash of salt
- Dash of black pepper
- Dash of cayenne pepper (optional, for a little kick)
Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced red cabbage, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne (if using).
- Toss everything together until the cabbage is evenly coated with the dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours, or overnight for deeper flavor.
- Before serving, give it a quick toss and adjust the seasoning to taste.
