Ingredients
  • 1 apple
  • cinnamon to taste
  • lemon juice
  • optional stevia
Preparation
  1. Chop up an apple into cubes or slices (cubes worked best),
  2. put in a pot with 2 Tbsp of lemon juice and cook on medium heat.
  3. Once they start to soften add cinnamon to taste and stevia if you'd like to make it sweeter (I prefer the natural sweetness from the apple).
  4. Heat until apples are soft and all lemon juice has been soaked up.
This is one of those recipes that you need to adjust the ingredients according to your taste.  When cooking like this, always start out with smaller amounts and add. You can also pour it over a wasa or matzo as the "crust." Enjoy! :)
Optional Ideas
Add English toffee or Cinnamon stevia for more sweetness. Thank you Blooming Bites for the photo!   Breakthrough M2 mentioned products, shop here: Liquid Stevia
