Ingredients
  • 1 serving black beans
  • 2 (free) cups Romaine lettuce
  • 3.5 oz serving veggie of choice (example: cooked cauliflower rice)
  • Optional free food add-ins: pureed salsa as “dressing”, cucumber, shredded cabbage
  • Squeeze lemon or lime juice to taste
  • Sprinkle of fresh cilantro
  • Sprinkle of Taco Seasoning or Stacy Hawkins Southwestern Seasoning  (or incorporate this into your cauliflower rice or salsa dressing to get the flavor throughout your salad.)
Preparation
  1. Put all of your ingredients together & enjoy!
Optional Ideas
Taco Seasoning*
  • 4 Tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 Tablespoon red pepper flakes or to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon dried oregano
  • 2 Tablespoons paprika
  • 6 Tablespoons ground cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon sea salt
  • 1 Tablespoon black pepper
