- spices (black pepper, chili powder, garlic powder)
- Bragg's Aminos
- approved ketchup
- red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup black beans
- onions & tomatoes weighed out to 3.5
- Saute/boil the onions in water on high in a sauce pan with the ketchup, spices & Bragg's. Once the onions are soft add the black beans and red wine vinegar and continue to cook for another minute or two.
- Continue adding water as needed. Once off heat transfer to a bowl and let it sit for a minute to get thick. Top with chopped tomatoes (I prefer grape tomatoes). The tomatoes will absorb the heat quickly. NOTE: can add quinoa but to do so have to take away from beans. Can also substitute the tomatoes for zucchini. Can add salsa as well.
