Ingredients
  • Water,
  • spices (black pepper, chili powder, garlic powder)
  • Bragg's Aminos
  • approved ketchup
  • red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup black beans
  • onions & tomatoes weighed out to 3.5
Anything without a measurement is as you like it. Start small and add.
Preparation
  1. Saute/boil the onions in water on high in a sauce pan with the ketchup, spices & Bragg's. Once the onions are soft add the black beans and red wine vinegar and continue to cook for another minute or two.
  2. Continue adding water as needed. Once off heat transfer to a bowl and let it sit for a minute to get thick. Top with chopped tomatoes (I prefer grape tomatoes). The tomatoes will absorb the heat quickly. NOTE: can add quinoa but to do so have to take away from beans. Can also substitute the tomatoes for zucchini. Can add salsa as well.
