Hot N’ Sour Chinese Soup

Ingredients
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Organic Chicken Broth
- 1/2 lemon, quartered & juice
- 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
- 1 stalk green onions or 1 TBSP of chives sliced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 3.5 grams chicken breast, shredded or thinly sliced
- Optional: 1/4- 1/2 tsp Chinese Five Spice
- Optional: Dash cayenne pepper
- Optional: 1/4 tea chili powder
Preparation
- In a pot turned to high heat, pour water and chicken broth in.
- Add half the lemon and it's juice to the pot.
- Let this come to a boil for 5 minutes.
- Take out the lemon rinds.
- Add Apple Cider Vinegar, scallions, garlic, ginger, chicken and optional spices to the pot.
- Cook for 2 minutes.
- Be sure to incorporate your serving of vegetables on the side. Some ideas are: sautéed/ steamed broccoli, cabbage or spinach!
