Ingredients
  • 10.5 oz of fresh spinach
  • 4.5 oz of cilantro
  • 21 oz ground organic grass fed meat (beef, bison)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes, or  jalapeño powder to taste
Preparation
  1. Use food processor to mince spinach and cilantro.
  2. In a large bowl, stir all ingredients together
  3. Firmly form the mixture into 7 balls measure each to make sure they are the same weight around 5.14 each
  4. Flatten the balls into patties,
  5. Heat large stick-resistant skillet over medium-high heat. Add the patties and cook until firm and richly browned, about 3 to 4 minutes per side.
  Assemble burgers suggestions:
  • Add sliced tomatoes, red onion , romaine lettuce, or any other vegetable for an added burger "crunch."
  • I garnished with ketchup and mustard
  • Serve while warm!

Optional Ideas
Radish pico de Gallo (yields 7 portions of 2.5 vegetable servings)
  • 7 oz radish
  • 3 0z red onion
  • 4 oz tomatoes
  • Add the juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tajín Clásico Chile Lime Seasoning
  1. Mince all ingredients in food processor
  2. Top your burger with additional burger toppings above.
  3. Enjoy!
